日曜までSTUSSY HARAJUKU CHAPTER 2Fにて開催されていたSTUSSY x HEEL BRUISE PHOTO EXHIBIT "UNDER THE RADAR" JAPAN TOURも今週末から大阪に移動し、STUSSY OSAKA MINAMI CHAPTERにて開催されます。東京会場で行われたレセプションパーティーも盛り上がってましたよ。この後大阪→福岡へと続きますので、お楽しみに。
レセプションパーティーが開催されたのは、東京（関東）がとんでもなく凄い雪だった2月14日（金）。原宿のSTUSSYで開催される『STUSSY x HEEL BRUISE PHOTO EXHIBIT "UNDER THE RADAR" JAPAN TOUR』のレセプションパーティーに行ってきました。風邪気味で病院行ったら、インフルエンザではなかったんで帰りに寄り道。雪の中でしたが会場はいっぱいの人。みんな来日中のReyのライブを楽しみに集まっていました。

この日は帰り道も"ここどこ？"ってな感じで雪景色でした。
StussyとHeel Bruiseによる写真展「Under The Radar」の5回目となるツアーが、2月15日の東京を皮切りにスタート。3年前のスタート以来とどまることのない成長を遂げ、今回ついに東京・大阪・福岡を1ヶ月に渡り巡回する。
Under the Radarは、スケードボードとストリートカルチャーに焦点を当て、写真家としての才能溢れる仲間やファミリーが集結して始まった。当初はRay Barbee、Devin Briggs、Curtis Buchanan、Robbie Jeffersら少人数で始まり、後にKeith Hufnagel、Lance Mountain、Travis Jensen、Kenny Anderson、Jeff Potocar、Remio、David Rasool Robinsonなど数々の著名なアーティストの作品を紹介するまでに至った。
今回の「Under The Radar No.5 - Japan Tour」では、Heel Bruise、沖嶋信、Mr. NJE のキュレーションにより、Ray Barbee、Jon Warren、Robbie Jeffers、Nic Fensom、樋貝吉郎、平野太呂 & Jai Tanju、沖嶋信といったインターナショナルなアーティストがこの特別なツアーに集結。それぞれの写真家が持つ独創的で確立されたスタイルとフレーバーを持ち合わせ、過去に類を見ないラインナップを実現。
Stussy and Heel Bruise will be presenting the 5th installment of the ongoing Under the Radar photo exhibition series kicking off February 15th in Tokyo, Japan. Under the Radar has seen a continual growth since its inception a couple of years ago and this time around, the show will be embarking upon a month long tour of Japan with stops in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka.
Under the Radar was created with the intention of bringing together family and friends with photographic talent to highlight skateboarding and street culture. It began with a small group that included Ray Barbee, Devin Briggs, Curtis Buchanan and Robbie Jeffers and has since gone on to showcase work by such notables as Keith Hufnagel, Lance Mountain, Travis Jensen, Kenny Anderson, Jeff Potocar, Remio, David Rasool Robinson and many more.
For Under the Radar 5 - curated by Heel Bruise, Shin Okishima and Mr. NJE - an international cast of talent that includes Ray Barbee, Jon Warren, Robbie Jeffers, Nic Fensom, Yoshiro Higai, Taro Hirano, and Shin Okishima have all been brought together to take part in this special tour. Each photographer possesses a distinct style and overall flavor that makes this one of the most diverse groups ever assembled for UTR.
